We report a non-fatal case diagnosed following extensive enterectomy for intestinal infarction in a patient recovering from emergency abdominal colectomy for perforated ulcerative colitis. This resulted in intestinal failure necessitating life-long parenteral nutrition and prolonged antifungal therapy. ER -
